Dr. David Sharp: Urologic Surgeon and Prostate Cancer Specialist

Dr. Sharp brings world-class Urology care to Alaska. His time at the #1 Urology Institute, the Cleveland Clinic and at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York has provided him the knowledge to make important decisions using the latest and greatest technologies to deliver the right patient care.

Dr. Sharp served as the Residency Director of Ohio State University's Department of Urology, one of the largest institutions in the US. Here he helped advance the field of urology through extensive medical research, making him one of the most experienced surgeons in the country.

Being a Urologist and Cancer Specialist and caring for patients has always been Dr. Sharp’s passion. You can count on him to maximize your healing and quickly get you back home to your family.

Dr. Tony Nimeh: Urologic Surgeon and Male Hormone Specialist

Dr. Nimeh has received his medical degree from the renowned McGill University in Montreal, Canada, and has trained in surgery and urology at Harvard University in Boston and at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where he received special training in hormone conditions that affect men such as low testosterone.

Dr. Nimeh is also a published expert in minimally invasive procedures for prostate enlargement such as the Greenlight Laser and the UROLIFT procedure and has the largest experience in the UROLIFT procedure in the state of Alaska. He has received rare training in complex surgical male reconstruction surgery at the University of Minnesota and performs penile surgery and procedures for men with urinary and erectile conditions - including microscopic and robotic surgery.

Zach Ritter, PA: Men’s Health Expert

Zachary Ritter, PA served his community as a Paramedic in the Matanuska Susitna borough for 6 years from 2010-2016. Afterwards he had the privilege of serving Alaska residents across the state as a Critical Care Flight Paramedic. Wanting to expand his ability to help treat patients and make more lasting improvements to people’s lives, he attended the University of Washington’s Physician Assistant program. After working as a physician assistant for two years in orthopedic surgery, Zachary moved to Alaska Urological Institute in 2017 to work as a Physician Assistant. After three years there, Zachary is delighted to join the staff of Fairbanks Urology in August 2020.

Zachary is a native of Alaska and was born in Palmer. His adventures have taken him across the state and now to Fairbanks where he enjoys the wonderful access to the outdoors. He is a father of three beautiful girls. You can find him on the trails at Birch Hill or around UAF any time of year running, biking or skiing.
